Where is the Isle of Man?
The Isle of Man is an island situated in the Irish Sea easily accessible either by sea from England and Ireland or by air from England (Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool,) Ireland (Dublin, Belfast) and Scotland (Edinburgh, Glasgow)

Why is it a financial centre?
Because the Isle of Man has been a distinct jurisdiction in its own right for over a thousand years, the laws on taxation and companies for example have evolved to produce a well-regulated and sophisticated environment for international business.

What are the benefits?
Each case is reviewed by our professional staff to see how the client can be best served. Because of the infinite variables that each client brings with them we can only offer the generic answer, "tax and estate planning, wealth management and privacy". A more complete answer would follow our initial survey of your particular requirements.

Who will be the officers of my company?
Depending on the type of company, you may provide all the officers or elect to engage Directors and Secretaries supplied by Investaid 2000 Limited.

What about ownership?
The Isle of Man laws allow for shares to be held in a "bare trust" for the ultimate owner. This means that the registry will show a nominee name to be holding the shares whilst you hold a declaration of trust from the nominee which allows you to take control whenever it suits you. Investaid 2000 Limited provides this service.

What are the advantages of Isle of Man companies?
The types of company are similar to those in the UK: Unlimited, Limited by shares, Limited by guarantee and are readily understood. There is also an additional type of company in the Isle of Man, namely Limited by guarantee and having a share capital.

At present the Isle of Man tax regime offers various options - advantageous low rates for resident companies, and a zero tax rate for companies is now in operation.

How do I get to know more?
Contact any of the staff members and they will be pleased to discuss your particular requirements.
